Most of the BOWLING LEAGUES at Thunderbird Lanes happen on a certain day and time each week, and are anywhere from 12 to 36 weeks in length all year round. A BOWLING LEAGUE may consist of 2, 3, 4 or even 5 players on a team – and BOWLING LEAGUES may be from 2 teams to 36 teams in size. Usually it takes a BOWLING LEAGUE that has 4 players per team about 2 1/2 hours to complete their league play. So a BOWLING LEAGUE won’t tie up your other day or night activities. Best of all, joining a BOWLING LEAGUE breaks up your weekly routine and costs less than filling up your car with gas.
You’ll see the term “Mixed League.” What does this mean? A Mixed League is a league that has teams that consist of both men and women. Traditionally, Mixed Leagues require that at least one woman or one man be a member of a team. That’s what a Mixed League is. You’ll also see terms like “Classic League” and leagues with special names. Can I join them? Most BOWLING LEAGUES are more than happy to welcome new members into their league. A BOWLING LEAGUE is a great way to meet new people, enjoy time with your friends, co-workers, family, neighbors, your congregation, your school mates…you name it, a BOWLING LEAGUE has it. Bowling is an activity that lets you get a competitive feeling, a feeling of teamwork, a feeling of being socially active, a lot of fun, and Bowling is even known to be a form of exercise.
